Friendly & helpful staff. Has nice bar/kitchen/lounge. Very different and pleasant to hostels we have stayed at before.

    No complaints :)

the location close to Davidka Square and Jaffo St.

The fact that despite paying an amount of money equivalent to a hotel, they make you clean your dishes and still put a sign to save water. They are selling more atmosphere of hostel than a hostel itself

Our flight arrived in Ben Gurion Airport after midnight and Abraham Hostel was still open at 1.30am when we got into Jerusalem! Breakfast was included as was a free tour of the Old City. We liked the friendly, helpful staff at the Hostel and appreciated the 10% discount they offered for a tour to Masada and the Dead Sea, even thought we stayed with them for one night only before moving to an apartment nearby. The location of Abraham Hostel is excellent as it is within walking distance to the Old City, the Market and everything else of interest in Jerusalem as well as close to transport to take you to the Israel Museum and Yad Vashem.

We liked it as we clearly understood that it was a Hostel and not a 4 star establishment. The room we had was quite small and spartan. It therefore suits the adventurous and independent traveller, not tourists who want to be pampered with luxury.

    The rooms are really simple

Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of information about city, sidghtseeing, transport. Free drinking water to refill bottles!

Breakfast (milk slightly sour, not much choice without milk for cereals)

    Nice location. Nice hostel atmosphere.

A service room was right next to our bedroom and employees made a lot of of noise all the time. Bathroom is old, but works fine.Have to keep in mind it is a hostel. Expensive for a hostel, but as everything else is Israel.

    Friendly staff, good location

terrible rooms, old bathroom equipment, noisy air conditioner without temperature control , you need to wait for the hot water for about 20 minutes, dirty bed linen - in a word, it's flophouse. Yes, the atmosphere in the common room is very fun and cool, but the rooms are just no good...

Lovely personnel, all fluent in english. Very nice and friendly athmospere in communal areas and bar, favorable to new acquaintances. Many activities offered by hostel (parties, cooking experiences, free old city tour). Free pool billiards table. Reasonably good breakfasts. Full-blown communal guest kitchen, actively used (but still enough place and tableware to cook for yourseld at near any given time). Personal fridge at your room. Convenient location near to main street, market et.c. - 15 mins walking to Old city (Jaffa gates).

Very modes room to say at least - may be considered adequate to the price, but we got used to better rooms (in hotels, not hostels). Two separate beds were small, old metallic ones (like in old-fashioned hospital), not designed to stack to each other, with small (yet warm) blankets. Old-style cold daylight lamp (again like in hospital). Dirty windows. Older bathroom equipment (yet working). A/c very old, hardly working. Kitchen sinks at the guest kitchen were often dirty - surely it is just up to us (guests) not being accurate enough, but installation of garbage disposal units would be of much help. Daily room service cleaned the floor and the bin, but did not make up beds (maybe it's ok for hostels?)

Everyone was super-nice, they can help you organise your time, trips and so on. They organise night activities (which is really helpful in Jerusalem), let you taste the local culture. They have laundry services, Internet and so on. Excellent lounge to relax in.

The hostel is very clean. Staff are nice an friendly. Breakfast is heathy. Common room is very big. Lots of young people around. Good opportunities to socialise and travel together with a group. Will come back.

good location, good breakfast, clean room, very friendly staff, one of the best hostels!

Great staff were very helpful. Rooms are basic but quite comfortable. Can be noisy with young backpackers around but this isn't a luxury place. Dining and reception areas are modern and relaxing.

I like the Hostel because of it's location and the feeling of family. Everyone seem very relaxed and casual. The rooms are nice and spacious and the staff friendly. The hostel is reachable by email and they are always willing to help in every way that they possibly can. I am happy about the curtains that they have in the rooms as I was there when the hostel just opened newly. And everything was not quite finished yet and also that they now have a breakfast available for their guests.

amazing location, friendly staff, very very clean.

I liked the hospitality and the friendliness of the staff. All needs were met and the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I would definitely recommend the hostel to others.

I stayed in a room with 2 others and had the top bunk which at times was hard to get up to as the ladder was not very stable. Asides from that- no complaints
